As the central coordination and communication body, Bundesvereinigung Nachhaltigkeit manages information flow, outreach, and engagement with individuals and organizations interested in climate-positive action. It promotes public dialogue on fair, effective, and transparent carbon initiatives — bringing climate awareness to a broader audience.
Farmers & Field Professionals
At the heart of every Carbon Removal Credit are our local farmers and trained field professionals. They are responsible for producing biochar, documenting processes using the Biochar App, and applying biochar to the soil — ensuring long-term CO₂ storage. Their hands-on contribution forms the foundation of our environmental impact.
Carbon Connect GmbH, Hamburg
As one of the first globally certified C-Sink project developers, Carbon Connect GmbH is responsible for project monitoring, data validation, and coordination with the certification body. With active projects in three African countries and new initiatives planned in Colombia, they set high standards in climate innovation and accountability.
Carbon Standards International, Switzerland
Our certification partner, Carbon Standards International, issues official Carbon Removal Certificates (CRCs) in accordance with the Global Artisan C-Sink Standard. Their validation ensures that every tonne of CO₂ removal is genuine, traceable, and permanently stored.
CERES – Certification Environmental Standards GmbH, Germany
As an independent auditor, CERES conducts annual system-wide reviews covering data integrity, training quality, and on-ground implementation. Their audits safeguard the credibility, transparency, and long-term trust in every step of our carbon removal process.
