Terms and Conditions
1. Scope
These Terms and Conditions apply to all orders placed through our online shop at carbon-removal.credit, operated by Bundesvereinigung Nachhaltigkeit Beteiligungsgesellschaft mit Wirkung mbH, unless otherwise agreed in writing. Our offer is aimed at consumers and businesses based in the EU.
2. Subject of the Contract
The subject of the contract is the purchase of digital certificates for CO₂ compensation (“Carbon Removal Certificates”) in various quantity models (S/M/L/XL).
The certificates confirm the permanent removal of CO₂ through certified biochar projects with smallholder farmers in Africa and South America. Certification is carried out by Carbon Standard International according to the C-SINK standard.
3. Conclusion of Contract
The presentation of products in the online shop does not constitute a legally binding offer, but rather an invitation to submit an order.
By clicking the button “Order with payment obligation”, you submit a binding offer to conclude a purchase contract. The contract becomes effective once you receive an order confirmation by email from us.
4. Service Description & Certificate Delivery
After payment has been received, a digital certificate is provided via email or download. It includes the CO₂ amount, ID, project verification, and, where applicable, the retirement confirmation. Refunds are excluded (see Section 7).
5. Prices & Payment Methods
All prices include 19% VAT.
Payment can be made via Stripe or other offered payment methods.
6. Subscriptions & Duration
If you select a subscription plan, the amount will be charged monthly.
The subscription can be canceled at any time.
Refunds are excluded once a certificate has been issued.
7. Withdrawal & Refunds
According to § 356 (5) BGB, the right of withdrawal for digital content is excluded once the execution has begun.
Refunds are only granted in cases of technical errors or duplicate payments.
8. Disclaimer of Liability
Bundesvereinigung Nachhaltigkeit Beteiligungsgesellschaft mit Wirkung mbH is liable only for intent and gross negligence.
Liability for external services (e.g., Stripe) is excluded.
9. Data Protection
Personal data is processed in compliance with the GDPR.

10. Copyright & Usage Rights
Certificates may only be used for proof and communication purposes.
Forwarding is permitted only with source attribution in the context of sustainability communication.
11. Final Provisions
German law applies. The place of jurisdiction is Berlin.
If any provision of this agreement is invalid, the remainder of the contract remains in effect.
